Graphic 45 Design Team 2014 Audition

Last but not least (though it appears at the top of my posts :) is some artists that I draw inspiration from, Tim Holtz and Dyan Reavely, because they are both so totally out of the box, for me. This steampunk inspired tag made with Dylusions Inks, Tim Holtz stamps and a Hampton Art stamp(balloon).

This little piece of art includes some of the Tim Holtz filmstrip tape and papers layered over some chipboard that I colored with Fabercastle gelatos and inks.

These TH inspired tags have tickets from G45 along wiiht some fussy cut circus images from Rusty Pickel perhaps and ribbons from Joann's.

This is Dylusions inks applied in the traditional Dyan style, then stamped over with Artistic Outpost stamps, except the lower left frame contains stamped images from Dyan Reavely's collection.

These cards are reflective of my occassional offbeat humor. The samps are a local company (well I consider KC KS local) called Funny Bones. the paper is from my scrap stash.

The watering can and knome (no it's not an elf according to Cricut) are mounted to a clothes pin to hold a recipe card or a pic.

And the perfume bottel tags were created from a template in the Stampington magazine and Tim Holtz stamps

I made this for my mom out of the new Couture Collection, which I love all the images from it. Instead of using a real cutting board I made a template and made this one out of two layers of brown manilla folders so it would be sturdy but not too heavy for her old plaster walls. I ended up putting a mini calendar on the tag in the center so it would be multi-purpose.

So my inspiration for my new colors for my kitchen(teal and red/orange and white) came from the Bohemian Bazaar collection. I made this hanging tag post-it holder for my fridge. OK it started out as a gift but I couldn't part with it.

Made this adorable night light out of a repurposed pasta box and the Mother Goose collection. Sure wish I would have bought more of this paper, now that I have burned through it all. I also made the new parents a matching scrapbook and decorated the pages wiht the larger postcard images and word strips. Sadly I didn't photograph any of the pages and I already gifted it.

One of my earlier G45 projects from last year was this 8x8 Place In Time calendar for 2013.  I use the monthly blank tag beside each mini calendar list the names of birthdays for that month. I'm so in love with it I'm still using it in my office this year I just mentally move the number over one.

Back to the Future

So now that I am getting my computer back up and connected I'm going to start posting my projects on here more instead of Facebook. Come join my blog. My first big adventure is an audition for the Graphic 45 Design Team for 2014. Wish me luck!

PS my son is getting married in May, guess I will be very busy.
